Job Description
The Department of Internal Medicine I for General Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in Siegen is seeking a Senior Consultant (Oberarzt) on a full-time basis.
The department has 52 beds and offers a broad spectrum of Internal Medicine services. A key focus is Gastroenterology, including all diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, as well as interventional endoscopy and endosonography.
This position is intended for experienced specialists in Internal Medicine who are ready to take on leadership responsibility and actively contribute to the further development of the department.
Requirements

Board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine

Additional qualification in Gastroenterology, Diabetology, or Nephrology (preferred)

Strong leadership skills with high professional and social competence

Ability to independently represent and further develop the specialty area

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to participate in on-call duties
