Job description
Our client is a specialized hospital focused on internal medicine with intensive care and acute geriatrics. The fully renovated facility offers 48 internal medicine beds, including 9 state-of-the-art single-room intensive care beds, 101 acute geriatric beds with early rehabilitation and 25 places in a geriatric day clinic.
The hospital’s services cover the full diagnostic and therapeutic spectrum of internal medicine, as well as a holistic, organ-based and functional diagnostic and treatment approach aimed at improving quality of life, independence and reintegration into the home environment. Internal medical imaging, including conventional X-ray diagnostics, is performed in-house and is therefore practically easy to learn.
A key focus lies in the areas of nutrition and dysphagia, including instrumental diagnostics. The Head of Department leads the Dysphagia Working Group of the German Society of Geriatrics (DGG). Further areas of focus include self-care ability, mobility and geriatric traumatology.
Responsibilities

Medical care of inpatients in internal medicine and acute geriatrics

Profile

Completed medical degree and valid medical license to practice in Germany
